Who we are
We are 12,000 people driven by a desire to help patients live full lives. Our mission is to bring medicines that make a real difference to both patients and healthcare providers. To do this, we provide medicines and products for hospitals, specialists and general practitioners, as well as over-the-counter medicines in selected markets.
What we do
With a broad portfolio of products and a powerful pipeline, we work in a wide range of therapeutic areas, particularly cardiology, gastroenterology, osteoporosis, respiratory diseases, pain management and tissue management.
We are engaged in all aspects of a product’s life, from research and development to customer relations. We also work closely with innovative research-based companies, constantly looking for products with real promise for patients.

Where we work
Based in Europe, Nycomed has a wide geographical scope. We operate extensively throughout Europe and in fast-growing markets in Latin America, Russia/CIS and Asia-Pacific.
